About the Author
Internationally recognized as a Bible scholar and spiritual patriarch, Derek Prince (1915–2003) was educated as a scholar of classical languages at Eton College and Cambridge University in England, and later at Hebrew University in Israel. While serving with the British army in World War II, he began to study the Bible as a philosophical work and, as a result, experienced a life–changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Derek Prince taught and ministered on six continents for more than sixty years, imparting God's revealed truth, praying for the sick and afflicted, and sharing his prophetic insights into world events in the light of Scripture. He wrote over fifty books, which have been translated in over sixty languages and distributed worldwide. He pioneered teaching on such groundbreaking themes as generational curses, the biblical significance of Israel, and demonology. Derek Prince Ministries, with its international headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, carries on the good work that God began in and through him by distributing his teachings and by training missionaries, church leaders, and congregations through its worldwide network of offices.

This book is an incredible and fantastic journey into the message, teachings, heart, spirit, soul, mind and body of Jesus Christ. Derek Prince was initially educated as a philosopher at Eton College and Cambridge University in England. He also studied Greek, Latin, Hebrew and Aramaic before becoming a Christian. His unique education and skills provided him with the ability to truly translate the Word-of-God (logos) into understandable English text. A lot of understanding can be easily lost when translating from one language to another; however, Derek Prince was able to interpret old texts precisely as they were originally meant to be known. One of the brilliant aspects of his mind and writings is to define the difference between logos and rhema from Greek: Logos is the unchanging Word-of-God which is eternal, and rhema is a word which is spoken and occurs in time and space. Rhema is the way in which the Holy Spirit brings a portion of the logos (Word-of-God) down or from eternity and relates it to time and human experience. Through reading this book, 3 times, I've learned that the concept of faith is so incredibly vast and challenging that I'm just in awe over the whole subject. If you are on the path of seeking God, eventually you will find Jesus. And this book is packed full of gems and will truly open your heart, mind and soul to Jesus... Thank you ever so much for this book Derek Prince, wherever you are now!!!
