The book is a decent depiction of Carey's life.,

As a student at William Carey College in Hattiesburg, MS, I had to read this book for my honors English class. The book gives a lot of information about Carey, but does more telling than showing. It does not make the reader connect with the story. It is a chore to read. The author includes too much irrelevant detail, and his writing style leaves much to be considered. Very boring. Overuse of cliches. I have been informed that it will not be part of the curriculum for the class next year. I recommend trying to find another source.
