NIV Faithgirlz! Backpack Bible

My 7 year old daughter needed a bible for a bible study program she attends. We ordered this bible for her and upon opening it, she thought it was "cool". As a matter of fact, so did her 11 year old sister. While the true treasure is in the inside, I was glad to see the publishing house make a bible that would be attractive on the outside as well. The color is periwinkle-- the material is like a suede microfiber (soft and durable). The flower flap-closure is so cute. The bible is small enough so that a young girl can handle it without a problem. In fact, it can fit into a purse easily. Our other "study" bibles were too cumbersome for my daughter to handle. Now, she looks forward to reading HER special bible-- I think that is really cool.

Although we liked the content of the faithgirlz bible and the sections written just for tween girls, the actual bible was cheap and flimzy. The flower closure was not going to stand up to the test of a child and the pages inside were incredibly thin. We returned this product for a hard bound faithgirlz bible instead.

When I was 14 I was given an NIV bible for Christmas (with me asking) and when my dad and I went bible shopping we found and bought a hardcover NIV bible. Although this satisfied my liking and use it at home frequently, I found that I wanted a bible to carry around my purse. On my visit to Missionsfest this year, I stumbled upon this bible ... It's a great product and though printing is smaller than usual it is still readable. Now in college, I am able to find the comfort of God and His word whenever I am stuck early on campus waiting for class....

I'm part of the over 40 crowd and I picked up this bible for myself. I like the fact that it fits into my purse. I especially liked that it wasn't a plain old humdrum colored bible - this one suits my young at heart personality and appeals to that part of me that loves: flowers and the color purple.

The inserts for young girls are just as important for older women such as the little quiz that asks "Can I feel free to be who I really am around my friends?" The three choices lead to three bible verses.

I had it for a year now and it's holding up very well and I get quite alot of compliments on it in church!

If you're looking for a spiritual gift for a young girl, look no further. This bible is neatly transcribed in the NIV translation with great helps and interesting explanations. Quality binding made to last with intricate and feminine detail make for a bible to stand the test of time. My daughter loves this book. It's just the right size to carry in her school bag, and she's found herself pulling it out when we're running errands or in waiting rooms. It's been a great replacement for the all too common electronic entertainment of today.

Wonderful Bible for girls from the age of six on up. This book as a nice "leather like" lavender cover that all girls love. Inspiring daily tips insterted into the Bible. Tips to prepare them to read the Bible and points to ponder on this fabulous book. The backpack is wonderfull additon to this book. Making transportion reading and care of it even easier.

I bought this bible as an Easter gift for my pre teen daughter. I haven't given it to her yet, but I know she is going to love it. The bible cover has a suede feel to it, with a clasp that I know she will think is "cool". I like the format of the bible, and the added phrases for girls to relate some of the information to modern day.

This is a terrific NIV bible for a girl between ten and 14. Any younger and it may be a bit delicate. Cheap and flimsy, however, it is not! My daughter has had hers for 2 years and it still looks brand new. She uses it a lot but also treats it with respect. It is a tiny thing and perfect for your tween!

My grandaughter loved her bible and she uses it every day. I just got finished going to see her and every night I was there she read out of it and loves the size and the extra pages in it. She is 9 yrs. old. Thank you so much.

This Bible is great for young girls! I gave it as a birthday gift to one of our church members, and she was delighted with it.
