one of my all-time favourite series,

so sad to see this go out of print... i discovered this book in 1990 in england, read it voraciously and then went out to find the first book (master of paxwax). still one of my favourite series, and i re-read it periodically.vast space opera without any of the cheesiness that often dogs the genre; exquisite descriptions of alien (and alien human) cultures; incredible story-telling. can't recommend it too highly... six of five stars. |
