On the 10 May 1940 the "Phoney War" ended as the German Army attacked France, Belgium and the Netherlands. In less than 50 days all three nations were overwhelmed. Photographs and maps identify key battle sites and there are artworks of the uniforms and weapons of the armies that fought.
