Easy to read with simple illustrations, this book gives helpful hints on everything from that little last step you don't notice to fixing up the bathroom to make you safe from falls. I was in a rehab center because I had my knees replaced but was surprised at the number of people there because they had fallen from a chair when they were reaching for something or a similar circumstance. This book gives lots of ideas for "elder-proofing" your house. Also suggsts gifts adult children can give the parent to alleviate certain problems.

This guide tackles the need to knows for anyone who's concerned about themselves or loved ones falling in the home. With quirky illustrations, smart tips, and a great voice, this book isn't condescending or difficult to read, but easily digestible and fun--a great book to have on hand in the home and to give to friends and family members.
