Most bands pride themselves in being extremely "punk"or "anti-mainstream", while others try to sound just like everone else. Fabrik is just happy being who they are and having a sound all their own. They simply call it POSH ROCK. "POSH" meaning "smart and fashionable" truly describes the band's style: Their passionate lyrics are both clever and thought-provoking in a way that is rarely seen in today's music. Their style is unique while still appealing to the masses. You could call it passionate-prep-punk-power-pop-rock... but POSH ROCK rolls off the tongue much better. So no matter what style you're into, fabrik is a band you don't want to miss. Think Pat Benetar meets weezer's pinkerton! Fans of the Donnas, Brand New and Plumb will dig this as well. A few nights ago FABRIK performed at SHOUTFEST/05 the date was 10/08/05. It was the first time I had ever heared this great band. When they started singing their wonderful music. I immedately rushed to their music's stand and bought their CD. My favorite song on the CD is "04. Altar Ego"!! I really recommend this CD.
