I have always been a fan of Nora Roberts and I usually love her trilogies...however the MacKade Brothers was so very predictable I almost stopped half way through the second book. I did continue reading...but alas was very disappointed in the "I know exactly what is going to happen" feeling I got from these books. It seems Ms. Roberts can no longer write about anyone that is not beautiful, educated and that fate always steps in and makes everything right. It would be nice if she wrote about an every day, hard working...perhaps cute but not ravishing beautiful man/woman. Perhaps I have read too many of her books and need to change...when I know what is going to happen at the beginning, middle and end of a book...I tend to lose interest. Fresh, new ideas would bring be back to Roberts....until then....I guess I'll read something else.
