I don't want to blast this story, yet I can't say it was very good. The reason is the tone of the writing. I was never drawn deeply into the story because it was more like reading a news report than reading a work of fiction. Still, although I wouldn't recommend this particular story the writer gave it a good shot and certainly can't be faulted for trying. He failed in my mind to entertain as well as he could have, but failure can be a good motivator. I see talent laying beneath the surface and I hope he continues to expand his abilities.

Just my opinion, but I found this to be a tedious read that I could not continue. Implausible characters in implausible situations, no credible exposition of characters and no feeling of entering a past world. I am sure that there will be plenty of people who will love this book, but as for me, it was disappointing.
