When it has came down it, there are honestly very few singers right now that simply touch you in the heart, that aren't all about gimmicks or fancy gloss, just a simple voice of the soul. Fallin' Asleep
"Fallin' for you" is perfect background music for a GAP store or wherever fashionable teens shop. It's great music for trying on dresses, shoes, withdrawing money at the bank, it's what Brian Eno would call "wallpaper music." "Fallin' for you" is a pleasantly sappy,inoffensive ballad. It's mediocre for Caillat, so it's a step up for her. "Fallin' for you"...

Colbie Calliat has honestly has been one of those few. Since she broke out a couple of years ago with Coco, she has really made great strides as a singer/songwriter. Her latest single Fallin' For You is honestly a very simple and mellow song. It really is quite relaxing, and follows well from the strength her other hits like Bubbly and her recent duet Lucky with Jason Mraz have score. I am very eager to see if Colbie's next record can shine just as well as she can sparkle.

I have been listening to this album non-stop since downloading it. I love her voice and just don't get tired of her music. If you're a Colbie Caillat fan, you'll love this album.

"Fallin' for you" works as mall music. It doesn't catch your attention;it doesn't have to. Maybe they'll play this when you're being put on hold. "Fallin' for you" would have you fall asleep.... |
