I'm really enjoying this. People should judge it for what it is, not who's doing it. It certainly fits in well with the current crop of indy-folk-pop singers and has a nice 'shoegaze' feel towards the end.

Much worse than I thought...,

I hoped for her sake it was good. The girl has done pretty well for herself on the big screen. I guess she needed her career to take some sort of dive... at least to get some perspective.
This song is terrible. It reminds me of Sinead O'Connor in the old days, but without any vocal range at all. If her goal was to sound like a sleep-walking stoner dying of boredom, she nailed it. If she was trying for anything else, it was an epic failure. Too bad too. I like her as an actress. Maybe she'll head farther into the downward spiral and release a perfum line, and start hanging out with Britney Spears (who STILL sings much better than this...frightening, but true).

The voice...,

The realproblem here is her voice...she has none. Really while the music is OK or at most interesting, her voice is really weak and cannot carry a tune. She should abstain from this...really.
