Eitan's ( No Milk! ) charming yet subtly sophisticated artwork enhances the book's appeal, and guards it from the cuteness that plagues many of its kin. Vibrant swaths of color blanket each page, accentuated by the bright white of the rabbits' fur. A skillfully applied thin red line adds strokes of detail and definition. This beautifully illustrated, perfectly rhyming book has become one of our nighttime favourites. I read it to my son almost every night, while he is sitting in my lap. It provides a warm and quiet atmosphere which makes it easy for him to let go of the daytime excitements and slide into sleep.
