This review is from: Fallout survival: A guide to radiological defense (Paperback)
Provides an excellent overview of radiological defence for the non-technical reader. The only criticism is that this book is geared toward surviving an all-out attack by the now-defunct Soviet Union. Single weapon attacks and the effects of close-in surface bursts are not treated exhaustively. Not a criticism but an observation is that the listing of surplused fallout meters is out-of-date. However, with these minor criticisms, the rest of the material in the book is excellent, proceeding from basic concepts to advanced RADEF. Recommended for all levels of reader from non-technical novices to experienced professional RADEF officers and first responders.
