Lady Gaga will be a Legend, July 7, 2010
This has to be one of the most consistent debut album i have listened to in an extremely long time. It's incredibly catchy, the lyrics are smart and the beats are incredible. I remember back in 2008 when i first got it and she was still pretty much relitavely unknown i was completetly blown away by how amazing the cd was, ever more so that she had written every song and it was a part of her creation. I had no doubt in my mind that she was gonna go far.
My favorite line of the album is from the exuberant Brown Eyes, in which she passionately sings
"Everything was everything but baby it's the last show
Everything could be everything but it's time to say goodbye so..
Get your last fix and your last hit
And grab your old girl with her new tricks,
Honey yeah, it's no surprise that I got lost in your brown eyes
Lady Gaga is out for world domination and this debut proves it.
My favorite songs are Paparazzi, Brown Eyes, Paper Gangsta, Boys Boys Boys, Summerboy, Poker Face, Money Honey and Beautiful, Dirty, Rich.
Amazing cd that you should deffinately not pass up!

Sheer Genius!, August 9, 2010
What an amazing debut album. Lady Gaga is an amazing performer and this album is incredible.
Each and every song is wonderful, although some of them took me a little longer to love, over the past 5 months that i've owned the album i've come to absolutely love the whole thing. You really get to appreciate and love it the more and more you listen to it. I was deffinately not dissapointed in any way and i will be more than happy buying more Lady Gaga albums in the future.
The album gets an A+

Great, and slightly odd, dance-pop music, March 28, 2009
This album is kind of an odd duck. On the whole, it's produced a lot more like the European pop-dance music (vocal trance, etc) except it has some really odd instrumentation and song structures. Interesting musically. Reminiscent of electroclash with glam elements in the choruses. Lyrics are beyond dumb and occasionally autotuner is used to mask vocal deficits, but this is typical for the genre, since it's about the beats.
Oh, and boy will it get you moving. Real high energy stuff. Great for a workout or the morning drive to work. Every song is good. Nearly every track sounds like it could be a single. A very solid album.
Highly recommended for dance, glam, and electro fans. Most everyone else with a moderately open mind to dance or pop should like it too.
If you like this album, you should probably check out the Veronicas new album too. Another great electro/dance/pop album with rock song structures.
