"Families are Special" is one of my child's (and my) personal all-time "Barney & Friends" favorites! Basically the show revolves around Tosha having a big surprise for everyone. She finally gives part of the surprise away and tells the others that her mom had a baby. For the remainder of the show Barney and the other children (Shawn, Kathy, Min, and David) are anxiuosly awaiting Tosha's surprise. After the children talk about how different people are special in their own ways and telling Tosha some special things that she can do with the new baby, Tosha suddenly shows everyone her surprise, and it is....well I'm not going to tell, you'll just have to get the movie and find out for yourself. I would recommend this video to any young child especially for families that are expecting a new baby.

This is one of our favorite Barney videos, and as of now, we can only get it at the video store. Please re-release it! I very much enjoyed the guest, Ella Jenkins?sp? as well as the story line. The music was also enjoyable.

EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! We have a large collection of Barney videos. This is absolutely one of the best probably only topped by the old "Barney: Mother Goose" video. Some of the best Barney music is on this video. It is good for families INCLUDING those who plan to have only one child. It is an introduction of twins to a family, BUT is great for all toddlers/preschoolers-- not just as an introduction of new sibling. There is a lot going on in this video because the surprise of twins isn't introduced until the end of the video. The music is spaced evenly throughout. Several kids have seen this video at my home and all were captivated by it.
