Ancestors from Clare - Get this book
If you have narrowed down your family ancestry to the Irish of County Clare, you will want to get this book. If you have not yet determined where your ancestors were born, then a great book to purchase would be "The Book of Irish Families, Great and Small" by the same author. You can also get a wealth of knowledge about the author and his research by visiting his irish...

Don't know exactly where they came from?
This book won't tell you. If you have narrowed your genealogical search to a Townland in Ireland you can bypass this book. Family record keepers will find scant confirmation of what they already know.

What a great book on County Clare!!! A must have!!!I agree 100% that this book focuses only on families found in County Clare, including old Irish families and settler families.
