Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Kindle Edition
Interesting is the reason why Laurence Macand decides that Madec "disappeared". Her husband, who discovers the truth (Laurence concealed Madec's body) at the end, makes finally the same decision : "keep the corpse in the closet" to protect the family. Hence the ironic "Nice family" !
Only through paranoia would one see here a torment for the devastated McCanns (who don't read French anyhow). As Arthur D. said to his mum, a writer : this Laurence isn't at all like you !
