This was purchased as a wedding gift. I especially wanted a Bible that had pages for family trees, marriages, births, deaths, etc. to be recorded. It is a lovely book, bound beautifully. I was proud to give it as a gift. It looks far more expensive than it was.

I bought this as a gift for a family. They enjoy that they can enter family births, deaths, marriages, etc., but also that it has a reference section. I highly recommend this, the price is practical, and if offers so much.

I ordered this family Bible based upon the positive reviews that it had received. It is a lovely Bible with more features, such as maps and a glossary, etc., than I expected. My only criticism of it is that the pages at the beginning where family events are to be recorded are not the quality of paper that I would have preferred. I would prefer a parchment-type feel to the pages where records are to be written in ink but the pages that are there are not of that quality. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with the Bible for the price and I would still purchase it as a gift. The couple who received it really liked it.

I have bought a number of these Bibles as wedding gifts. Now my friends are asking where I got them so they, too, may give them as gifts! They are beautiful and look very expensive!

Given to a bride & groom as a wedding gift, this family Bible is a great way to give something of substance to a new family! Very modern in appearance yet traditional with pages for family history and future additions. Sure to become a family heirloom.

This was my second time using Amazon and again I was pleased. The family bible that I purchased would have cost at least three times more than what I bought it for through Amazon. The bible was brand new...so it was in great condition. I also received free shipping...could not beat that.

The product was received on time in good condition. I purchased as a Christmas gift for a relative and they were very impressed and so was I!

We bought this Bible as a wedding gift in July, 2011. It is absolutely beautiful and is a great gift for a couple to have to pass on to future generations as the family record section is detailed.The scriptural pictures are lovely. And the Words of Christ in red! We had the family name engraved on the front, adding even more beauty to this Bible. I am not sure if it is real leather or not. That is my only concern.

I had become frustrated looking for the perfect family Bible for my son's upcoming wedding so I asked my husband to give it a try. He bought this one. I love, love, love it and so does my son and his lovely new bride! In fact I have since purchased 2 more for my nephew and my dear friend's daughter who are getting married soon. I am really tempted to buy more and save them for my other nieces, nephews and children. The Bible is extremely well-made and expensive looking. The photos and records sheets are very nice, as well. The references within are helpful and well-done. My only criticism is that I would like to have more pages to record births, deaths, etc. since it is my hope that these Bibles will last more than one generation. If you are looking for a family heirloom, I can not imagine you will find one better than this one at any price.

This is exactly the type of Bible I was looking for. It has family tree forms and special family event forms in the front to keep track of all your family's important info. We actually incorporated the Bible into our wedding ceremony and instead of lighting a "unity candle" we signed the front page of this Bible. We hope to keep it in our family and pass it down to our kids. I would recommend it to anyone.
