Family Circle is a fairly good magazine that features articles on family life, raising kids, travel, personal finance, home improvements, and more. It is primarily directed at the female population, with articles that emphasize the roles that mother's play in household management. The articles that feature recipes and family life form the bulk of the stories in Family Circle. Less common are the articles involving personal finance and other topics. These financial articles are a nice addition, and I was surprised when I first saw them in this magazine. But potential readers should be forewarned that these articles are not very in- depth. They only skim the surface of finance, talking about such simple matters as balancing a checkbook, refinancing a home, and paying off credit card debt. You aren't going to find a story about purchasing stock options or selecting tech stocks. Family Circle keeps it simple and covers only those financial topics that are relevant to taking care of the home and daily living. Family Circle is published 15 times per year, with a low subscription cost. It may not cover topics as thoroughly as other, more specific magazines and it can sometimes get a little repetitive from month to month. But it's a pretty good magazine overall, with tips on cooking, cleaning, fashion, raising kids, and taking care of one's home.

Wonerful magazine!,

This magazine has been around for as long as I can remember, but it recently got a fresh new look. It is sophisticated looking now and does not remind me of the Family Circle that my mother used to read. It still has the same, high quality articles and editorial that it always did, though. The writing in the magazine is excellent and I find that I can always incorporate their advice and tips into my daily life - unlike a lot of other magazines that I subscribe to. I especially love their recipes - very quick and easy, but delicous. My family always loves them. I highly recommend Family Circle to women of all ages!

TRIED AND TRUE,

I LOVE FAMILY CIRCLE. IT'S SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN AROUND FOREVER. WHEN I AND MY SIBLINGS WERE GROWING UP MY MOM USED IT'S RECIPES AND HOUSEKEEPING IDEAS (ALWAYS WITH GOOD RESULTS). THE MAGAZINE CONTINUES TO GROW AND ADAPT TO CURRENT SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT AND TO OFFER WONDERFUL RECIPES, CRAFTS, ARTICLES, ETC. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE HOME DECOR IDEAS (THOUGH I WISH THERE WERE MORE OF THESE). WHEN I MOVED INTO MY CURRENT HOME I BOUGHT SO MANY DECORATING/DESIGN MAGAZINES SEARCHING FOR IDEAS TO GET MY NEW PLACE INTO SHAPE. THE BEST DESIGN IDEAS I FOUND WERE IN FAMILY CIRCLE.

Lots of Good Stuff Inside,

This review is from: Family Circle (1-year) (Magazine)
Family Circle is aimed at female readers with articles focusing on topics like parenting, marriage, etiquette and beauty and fashion. Each issue also features an article on Women who make a Difference. There is also a Health Report article, fitness articles, and diet tips, including menus and recipes. There are lots of recipes, in fact, including pull out recipe cards that can be filed in your recipe box. There are also articles on gardening, decorating ideas, and craft ideas. A reader's tip column pays readers $50, if their tips are used.
Family Circle is a good magazine for all women.

If you like to cook, this magazine has so many great recipes. I first saw it at my doctor's office and since I wanted to photocopy so many things, I figured it was best if I bought a subscription--it was well worth it.

I love this magazine, and I'm glad that I got it for a low price. I love the recipes and the other articles as well. My friend and I exchange magazines when we are done.

The variety of information is great! Love that it has information that I can use for fun with my grandchildren, as well as the care of house and home. I find it upbeat and full of positive insight.

One of The Great Magazines,

Family Circle is a great magazine. I've been getting Family Circle on and off for three years now, and I am only 18. I also enjoy reading Good Housekeeping, and Ladies Home Journal. Family Circle has great useful information on teens, cooking, and other things, almost everything you need all in one magazine. Family Circle is one of my favorite magazines in this category. I think Family Circle is worth your money either by buying every issue on newsstands, or having a subscription. The money you pay for Family Circle is worth it, because all of the useful information you get just for $1.99 an issue.

Happily Surprised!,

I was skeptical of this magazine before I received the first issue because of the other magazines (of the same genre) I've tried before. I was happily surprised by how interesting this one is. The recipes are excellent! There are tidbits of information on variety of relevant women's issues specifically: health, fitness, and parenting. Also there are very easy, creative, inexpensive decorating tips! And unlike many other similar magazines it's not flooded with ads.
