Having just purchased the Family Circle cookbook, I thought I'd make something for the holidays to share with family and friends. I decided to try both of the biscotti recipes in the book, and they were surprisingly quite simple, and turned out wonderfully. I have yet to try other recipes in the book, but if they turn out anything like my first trys I'll have to change my rating to 5 stars!

Little did I realize that this unassuming cookbook would house between its covers some of the easiest and tastiest recipes I have found. The inventive use of spices and herbs along with interesting combinations of vegetables, pastas, and grains makes this cookbook a real find. I'm sending one to my unmarried daughter today...who knows what might happen from the Family Circle kitchen to hers!

This cookbook is probably my "best" cookbook I own. I have an assortment of books that I use but I find they have just a few "favorites" that I use over and over. In this cookbook, however, I have found I have tried just about EVERY recipe! And they are all good! They are easy, nutritious and they appeal to all... young and old alike! This is important for someone trying to have a meal with the whole family, rather than cooking "adult food" for the grownups and "kid food" for the kids. The recipes don't take hours to prepare either! A true plus for someone who works yet doesn't want to feed the family pre-prepared frozen and expensive non-nutiritous junk that is ruining our health!

The recipes are so easy and thier are lots of yummy ones. I am not the worlds best chef so this cookbook was perfect for me!

I initially bought this cookbook for my mom. Since then I've bought one for almost everyone I know. It's by far the best cookbook of the dozens I own. It's a collection of recipes sent in by readers over the years so they've been tried and tweaked. Great overall cookbook and I'd recommend it to anyone over most any other cookbook.

As a long time reader of Family Circle magazine, I have clipped out many of their recipes. It was no surprise that I would love this cookbook. Filled with hundreds of recipes, this cookbook has them nicely organized and includes prep time, cook time, and nutrition information. The directions are numbered and so easy to follow. I have tried the following recipes so far: Cheese Topped Stuffed Peppers, Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Potatoes, Foolproof Fries, and Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies. Each recipe has turned out perfectly and this cookbook is fast becoming a favorite. I plan on trying more in the very near future.
