Well, for me it worked well because is a good key logger and takes screen-shots that are useful. I do not know why but the tab of visited websites do not works for me (you can check the Internet Explorer History though), also the Instant Messaging function I'm not sure what it does as I've never seen any information there. The license is for 1 computer only and I'm about to change mine so I'll have to wait and see if it will work with my new computer or this is as far as I can go with the software. I gave 4 stars because the features I'm not sure that work and because the license limitations.

Only missing element is that when your child is exchanging IM messages with others you cannot see what the other party has written. apart from that it's a very useful package to track where your children go on the internet and what they are saying/typing. Quick to download and easy to set up.

We have 2 teen daughters, they spend way too much time on Facebook, and we knew there were problems. I needed to know what was really happening. The real danger area is the Facebook chat (IM). Even though this program says it records the chat, it does NOT. The Keylogger records the chat of my daughter but there is no recording of what the other party says. There are screenshots, but they only show intermittent shots of the responses. NOT at all what I need. Additionally, I have not been able to get the remote monitoring to work, so that to check what has been recorded I have to physically log onto my teen's computer and check the logs. This program is supposed to email the reports to my computer, but it doesn't. Furthermore the "premium technical support" is via email. I would consider that much less than premium. No phone number is given to telephone a real person. Email tech support got responses in less than 24 hours, but didn't solve the problem. I have looked into several other programs and have yet to find one that actually records both sides of a Facebook chat. Seems to be a big hole as far as protecting my kids.
I gave it a 2 because setup of website filtering, keylogging and automatic screen shots was easy to set up and works well, otherwise I would give it one star.

I installed it on my windows 7 and Vista PCs. It works great on both computers. It is easy to install and easy to use. It is a full suite of monitoring tools, recording keystrokes, websites, programs, files, et al. It is better than the filter that I uninstalled right after I purchased Family Cyber Alert. Family Cyber Alert captures all the info I need and really saves me a lot time in monitoring my home pc activities. It is reliable, unobtrusive and apparently very stealth. It performs as presented - Exactly what I was looking for. Support from the company is great as well in helping me trying to set it up on my old WinNT PC. I strongly recommend this parental monitor tool.

I have been using Family Cyber Alert for over a year. I have just got this latest version. It has proven itself to be a great tool for me to monitor my home computers. Easy, reliable and captures all the info I need. The Keylogger is the best and works extremely well. I like the real time alert feature as well. The blocking feature works great. I am very impressed with their tech support which is very responsive. Great product and a good buy! Get the latest version if you can!

The software did not perform the email alert as it says it would. Also, the webside blocking is not fully working. it did not block nor email the alerts. In addition, the tech support is very slow and non-responsive. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.
