I was really looking forward to this game when I saw it was coming out. it is a lot like the original game show and has many things like face offs and fast money that people will be familiar with. But the game gets boring pretty quickly. There are 12 shows and once you beat one you move to the next one. Once you are done with the 12 shows (which does not take very long to accomplish) there is nothing else to do but play the shows over and over again. The questions are different which is good. Some of the questions are stupid and make no sense, but some are fun to play. One complaint I have about the Fast Money round is that you never find out what the most popular answer is. Basically it is worth buying as long as you can deal with the negative parts of the game.

You get to design your own player, and the family is randomly designed for you. For example, my name is Rebecca. The family's name is the "Rebecca Family" and you don't get to customize characters at all. This wouldn't normally bother me, but seeing as it's called FAMILY Feud, and the original gameshow is all about family teamwork, I was a little peeved.
The game gets boring very fast. You design your avatar with several basic characteristics and then play the levels by typing in words that might come up as top answers to questions. If you're not a good speller, this game might not be for you. For the fast money round, you give answers for both family members. When you get money, you can't really do anything with it except buy different clothes or hairstyles which really don't play any role in the game anyway. I was just disappointed with this game. I love Family Feud the show, and the host Steve Harvey. But in this game, the voice which speaks to you gets annoying very fast, and is very repetitive. After only about ten minutes, I turned the volume off completely. After only about half an hour I was done playing the game for the day, and probably for at least a few weeks. This is the first DS game I have played on my new DS, and I am a little worried about my investment in a DS if most of the games are like this. I don't want to be a Debbie Downer. For me, this was a waste of money, but maybe you would enjoy it. I'm just sharing my experience because it may be helpful for someone on edge about their potential purchase of this Family Feud DS game.

I like the Family Feud, so I brought this game and I think it is fun. The game is a duplicate of the real game show. In each game you are given four rounds with the first and second being regular points, the third round double the points, and the fourth round triple the points. It also gives you face off at the beginning of each round to see which family gets to play, also it gives you the sudden death round only if neither of the families have 300 points.
This game does have some cons too it. They are: 1) It only gives you 12 families to play against/unlock, so if you beat all of them, the only thing you can probably do is play against them again and 2) If you play the fast money round, it never tells you what the #1 most popular answer was, like in the game. But oh well I still like it and think it is fun

My kids seem to really enjoy this so that is what counts! I have a 10 year old and an 8 year old.... sometimes the questions seem hard for their age, but they still enjoy it!

I love playing family fued but this game only goes through 12 levels and that's that. There's nothing left to do buy create another profile and play all over. I have created 6 profiles now and finished all 6 of them, including not counting a win unless I won fast money. I wish they could have made it more difficult, or make rounds you can unlock as you go on. The incentive for the free hair and clothing doesn't make the game any more exciting to play.

If you love playing along with Family Feud on TV, you will love this game. It's challenging and has a fun format. The only cautions I have is that sometimes the answers in the survey seem a bit odd and you don't have very long to type in your answer and sometimes the game is looking for a very specific answer (ex. Batman vs. superhero). While I have not had a puzzle repeat yet, I don't suggest playing this game for an extended period of time. The format is repetitive and I found it easy to get bored. In small doses, this is a really fun game!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my neice to keep her off of my cell phone playing it and since she's had it I have not been bothered. But she hasn't offered to let me play with it either. She did say t hat she has enjoyed it and loves it very very much.
Great buy if you want to keep the kids entertained and away from your phone!!

The game is really fun, but there's just not enough people to beat. After a few hours I had beat everyone. I have played it alot and never had a repeat survey though. Not bad. Still a fun game, just get really sick of playing the same people all the time.

I thin it is a grat game, played just like the real one with the same sounds as used in the real show. The only downside is that there is only 12 missions! That upset me.But,If you are a diehard gameshow fan like me,I would suggest it.
