The Winans Family lost one of its shining lights when Ron recentely passed. I am glad I had the opportunity to see him sing for a prophetic conference in Fort Worth, Texas. That was the first time I heard Song Of Consecration, number 8 on this CD. It blew me away. Ron sang with a conviction that moved the entire congregation and ushered in a wave of praise and repentence. I could not remember the last time I had experienced true worship and humility, especially from a well known artist. It was refreshing to see a man with talent sing with humility and annointing. We were all touched by it and I can remember that it was the highlight of the evening.

Many slept on this CD. I purchased it shortly after that meeting and I am so glad I did. This is a CD for those who can appreciate high praise and worship. The entire album keeps you encouraged with songs like 1. Who Would Have Thought, 2. He Proved His Love and <10. Sinner's Lullaby. Buy this for yourself. Buy it as a gift. Buy it, period.

Ron Winans touched us all during his stay on earth. Now he is in a better place, still singing the praises of God.

I was working out one sunday morning and I was listening to the Gospel Music show on one of the urban radio station down here in Miami and when I heard this song, I broke down and cried, while jogging. Then I lifted my hand and started to praise Jesus for all of the things he's done for me despite myself. I'm sure the driver who passed me buy on the street must have thought I was crazy but, even in working out I had an experience where I was truly touched by the Holy Spirit as this song was playing. This song truly moved my heart. Im sure if you listen to this song...it will move you too.

Prayers for the Winans as they mourn the loss of their son and brother.

I decided to skip church one Sunday morning and instead listen to 99 JAMZ in Miami, Fl when I heard "A Song of Concecration", I stopped preparing my Sunday dinner and praised God in my kitchen and living room ( I had praise and worship all by myself)the Holy spirit fulled my house; this song TOUCH MY SOUL.

I recently purchased the CD and everytime I hear this song I get that same feeling !! I shared the song with others and bless God they had the very same experience !! If you are lucky enough to get a copy get it and hold on to it because it is a rare and expensive find, I assure you that you won't regret it!!

There is absolutely NOTHING(as far as music is concerned)that touches my spirit like this absolutely ASTOUNDING album!!! If I were forced to pick a favorite song,it would probably be"I Came Into the Light"because of it's heart-felt lyrics concerning a saint feeling totally unworthy of being chosen by Jesus to preach His gospel:"Can somebody tell me WHY?!?" "Tell me,WHY was I the one You chose to "stand"?!? KNOWING my knees get weak,STAMMER when I speak!!"WHY was I the one you CHOSE to see the light?!?" "Knowing I was shy,and NOT so"bright",STILL I was the one You CHOSE to.........."Tell me,where ARE the scribes,and WHERE are the WISE?!?" "For the Jews...The Jews REQUIRED a"sign",The Greeks studied HARD to be "wise",but WE preach Christ crucified,to all who hear and BELIEVE.... Not many"mighty"are called,but the WEAK ones....."These following lines really send a chill through me:"Now the Gospel SEEMS foolish,ONLY to them that"PERISH"and I found out that,the "wise"will NOT by their"wisdom"know!! I can NOT possibly EVER get weary of hearing this song!!"Song of Consecration"comes in at a CLOSE second with its'solemn message,concerning a saint deciding to give his absolute ALL in an effort of living the type of life that is pleasing in the eyes of the Lord!! "I'm coming as a BROTHER,good Lord,I'm coming as a FRIEND!!"the profound song"He cares"highlights the point that if God has His eyes watching over a simple sparrow(It says so in the Bible)then how much MORE,does He care about us,His MOST beloved creation?!? The songs' chorus says it all:"If He cares for the sparrow,then I KNOW He cares for ME!!"This heart-felt part is great:"Already knew that He died for me,and gave His life just to set me free,and NOW you tell me He WATCHES me,that He CARES for me!!" "Since Jesus Came Into My Heart"is a notably EMOTION-filled ballad about a saint describing the many great changes(in attitude as well as actions)that have taken place in her life,ever since she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior..."All the anger I once felt for my enemies,the Lord He took it AWAY,and is now replaced with so much love." "My bad habits I had,Lord You CHANGED them and I'm glad!!" "He Proved His Love"spotlights the GREAT acts of love that Jesus has already performed for us,showing that Jesus doesn't only SAY that He loves us,but that He has(time and again)SHOWN this love by His very actions!!"So on Calvary He hung there and died,it was for OUR sins that He gave His life,you see the PURPOSE was to share,to SHOW how much He cared,for you and me!" "When God gave His Son for me,He PROOVED His love!!""Sinners Lullaby"is an INGENIOUS(and beautiful)song that can cause a sinner to question:"Why HAVEN'T I accepted Jesus as Lord?!?" If I were stranded on a desert isle and I had a choice of just ONE album to listen to for the rest of my days,THIS album would undoubtably be IT!!! Hands Down,my favorite album of ALL-TIME!! In ANY genre,not just gospel!! I HIGHLY reccommend this!!!
