5.0 out of 5 stars Quick and easy game for all ages.
I really enjoy this game because I can play it with my 4 year old son and still find it challenging. It plays very quickly (a few minutes for a single game), there is little setup required before a game or between games, and the rules are easy to learn and explain (very useful if your child doesn't yet read). 3.0 out of 5 stars Fun, but not long lasting fun
Our children's museum had the whole series of these games (quarto, quoridor, etc.) While some were addicting, (quoridor especially) this was fun at first, but we soon tired of it. There is strategy involved, it is simple to learn, but it just didn't hold our attention for long. In my opinion, this is a terrific series of games with one bomb.

It plays very quickly (a few minutes for a single game), there is little setup required before a game or between games, and the rules are easy to learn and explain (very useful if your child doesn't yet read). I believe that the game does a good job of teaching a child to manipulate and visualize shapes. The game has a strong element of skill, but is also random enough that the adult will likely not win all (or most!!) of the games. There are only 18 wooden pieces and 1 sturdy playing surface to keep up with.
