This review is from: The Wizards Workshop (Toy)
I was pretty jazzed about the concept of this toy as I am an avid puzzle enthusiast. Too bad it turned out to be frustrating for all the wrong reasons.
1) The English instructions seem like they were google translated from another language and make little or no sense.
2) That would be OK if the diagrams were clear, but sadly they also make no sense. Since it is crucial when ropes go above, below, or through loops there should be some clear way of indicating that. Nope. Just black lines running through each other like you are looking at the shadow of a puzzle.
3) Disentangle puzzles are pretty straight forward to figure out, but 3 of the puzzles leave you with little or no clue as to what the point of the puzzles is.
4) Some of the holes are drilled too large and pieces do not fit together properly.
5) The kit comes with a green rope that has two free ends and a white rope that is in a loop. However, in all the pictures of puzzles the puzzles use two white ropes, making it that much more frustrating to figure out what the heck is going on.
