The board and the pieces are of a decent size for a good game anywhere, and the magnetics are plenty strong enough to hold everything in place while you travel or move the board. The board is flexible, but it isn't really a roll up board. It's flexible enough to store in a backpack, though.

When we opened the package and tried to play for the first time we found a lot of small shiny pieces and fine dark colored particles on the board. They made the board somewhat messy. When I tried to clean each piece, I finally realized all these small shiny pieces and dard particles are result of coating coming off the magnetic portion at the bottom of each piece.

This whole thing kind of makes me sick. We spent quite a bit time wiping all the pieces clean. I have to wonder all those residues are of health concerns too.

Functionality wise it is good. Maybe we are just not lucky. But I have to consider this product inferior. It would be nice if game rules had come with the product.

This is a great toy - we use it in our Dodge minivan (with the swivel and go table). Our kids play chess all the time. The magnetic feature really helps in the car. I wish it would have come with instructions on how to play backgammom because they would like to try that and my wife and I can't remember how to play.

The board is great and unique. The magnets stay put. The pieces could be nicer. They are not the worst but they are on the cheap looking side. The carry bag has held up so far, but I'm not sure how long it will. Over all it has made my son's day. He takes it everywhere and plays all the time with any willing person.

I use this mostly for playing checkers. The board is a flexible mat and the pieces have little magnets in them. The magnets are strong and the pieces won't fall off even if the board is flipped upside down.

There are two small things to consider. If you have longer nails it can be hard to pick up the magnetic checkers pieces. Also, you need something flat to place the board on. Playing in a car with the board on your legs doesn't work well, so make sure you have a big book or something.

Overall this is great! It's portable, light, comes with a carrying case, and is built to last. The price is a little steep, but you'll be very happy with the product.
