The word game you'll flip over. This French Version includes the French alphabet and instructions in French. Otherwise, game play is just like the English version. The Flippit frog accompanies children as they earn points by spelling words. Using colorful alphabet cards, children choose a word consisting of 3 letters or more. Much like the game of solitaire, children flip cards and reposition them in their proper spelling sequence. The more cards correctly repositioned, the more points acquired. Printing is done with soy based inks. Includes 60 jumbo cards, 1 dry erase marker, and 1 dry erase board. 1-6 players. Ages 6+.

We bought this game on the advice of a friend. And, boy are we glad we found it. We just returned from a long trip to Canada and thouroughly enjoyed playing this game along the way. It is a great way to have some fun on a road trip and it encourages kids to look OUTSIDE of the vehicle instead of staring at an electronic toy or watching a DVD. It also encourages conversation and fair play. My son learned quite a bit about patience as he waited for miles to spot one of the items on his cards. The box is small and easy to store in a glove compartment. And, the cards list each item in three languages - fun to pronounce.

the title says it all, this was not anything more than a deck of cards - never would have purchased had it been made more clear. kids looked confused when we opened it and tried to establish what it was.
