5.0 out of 5 stars NOT for the Novice!
This puzzle is not for the novice...instead, it's a great gift idea for the advanced puzzle freak who enjoys a true challenge. The quality of the build is the same terrific wood pieces but this steps it up a notch. versus
3.0 out of 5 stars It is good but after playing with ir for a little while some parts fell off on their own
After messing with it for a little while some parts fell by themselves which took out must of the initial fun.
The wood is good but not great.
Overall is a nice present to give to people who enjoy 3d puzzles but don't expect too much quality

This puzzle is not for the novice...instead, it's a great gift idea for the advanced puzzle freak who enjoys a true challenge. The quality of the build is the same terrific wood pieces but this steps it up a notch. I own/play with a lot of these puzzles BUT...to get a true sense of the puzzle, I throw out the instructions without ever looking at them whenever bringing home a new puzzle. Also, because my better half is visually impaired, it gives us both a "level" playing field with a little friendly competitive. As of right now, this bugger isn't solved. It's frustrating, it's challenging and it's fun!

I own a LOT of these puzzles and enjoy each immensely so see my other reviews for a break down on difficulty level, quality of workmanship and more.

This was a gift for the puzzle guy in the family. A relative gave him a marble puzzle and it took him about two weeks to solve it. This one took two evenings after work. So although he likes it and is still messing around with it, it wasn't as mind expanding as I had hoped. But it is clever and sturdy and once he tires of it, he will probably pick it up once a year to review it. But now I am on the hunt for the next great puzzle.. Rubic's Cube is still the favorite around here...

It looks great as a home decor piece, and everybody that looks at it wants to try it out.
It is a little intimidating at first, but once you get the trick it is very easy
