Bunny Guinness is at the peak of the garden design profession and proud owner of 5 gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show. She has a degree in horticulture and is a qualified Landscape Architect. Since setting up her own practice in 1986, her work has taken her all over the world, and has ranged from designing family gardens to landscaped grounds for hospitals and offices. She has appeared regularly on TV and radio.

I was looking for a book on children's gardens. This book does contain a brief chapter on tree houses and one page on building an alligator shrub -but it also includes many other topics very briefly, examples pond building, sheds, etc. I have many gardening books and usually try to get books that cover one topic - when I wanted a pond - a bought a book devoted to ponds - the four or five pages in here in no way prepare you to have a pond, they just briefly describe them. The book is written well and the pictures are nice but I really hoped this would have lots of sugesstions for magical children's gardens or ways to involve your kids in your garden - guess I'll keep looking.
