I was looking for a book on children's gardens. This book does contain a brief chapter on tree houses and one page on building an alligator shrub -but it also includes many other topics very briefly, examples pond building, sheds, etc. I have many gardening books and usually try to get books that cover one topic - when I wanted a pond - a bought a book devoted to ponds - the four or five pages in here in no way prepare you to have a pond, they just briefly describe them. The book is written well and the pictures are nice but I really hoped this would have lots of sugesstions for magical children's gardens or ways to involve your kids in your garden - guess I'll keep looking.
