In the mid 90s i got several books on homeopathy. This was the only one i found useful. It's an A to Z format listing remedies and conditions, very comprehensive. Under each condition, it lists specific characteristics of the condition, for example, Cough, dry, wet, improved by drinking water, improved by eating, and with each of these specific characteristics, it gives a remedy. I have used this many times, looking up a condition, and then trying the remedy for that specific version of the condition, with frequent success, helpful more often than not, often dramatically. All the other books on homeopathy i got either sit on the shelf unused or have been given away. This is the one that's been practically helpful. It's a practical guide for what to do for which condition.

This book i have used over the years, especially for acute sudden illnesses, such as colds, sinus, etc.
When my son had multiple ear infections, this is the book i used to give him the appropriate remedy in the middle of the night.
I have notes all thru my copy. Easy to follow.
Well worth its cost.

The family Guide to Homeopathy book is out of print and, according to my resources, is the best beginner's homeopathy book published. I was delighted to find it on Amazon.com and at a reasonable price. I really thought I was fortunate just to find it, and at less than half the published price. When the book arrived I was amazed at the condition, like new and no markings. Then I knew I was beyond fortunate and am happily and successfully experimenting with homeopathy. I will definitely try Amazon.com when I'm ready to pursue another interest or hobby as cost effectiveness is important to me and this experience definitely works for me.
