Good starting point,

This review is from: The Family Handyman: Decks, Patios, and Porches (Hardcover)
I particularly like the section on paver patios. It has good ideas for deck and patio projects, and serves as a good place to start planning your deck or patio project. I don't think this book is all you need to build your project, though. You may need more documentation.
