Book Description

Bodies of dead women are piling up and Detective Melanie Curtis is doing everything she can to solve the ‘Cheerleader Slasher’ case. Surprised to discover her chief has requested help from the FBI, she’s even more shocked when she meets the sexy FBI special agent sent to assist her.

SSA Nate Willis tracks serial killers for a living. The slasher case is a challenge, but nothing compared to the feisty police detective he finds leading the investigation. Their attraction is swift and mutual, but the killer is escalating and they need to solve the case before they can focus on their personal relationship. When the unthinkable happens and the investigation is turned upside down, is their chance for happiness also in jeopardy?

From the Author

Thanks for checking out my work. If you like romantic suspense please consider my latest series, Witness Security. Pieces of the Past is available now. Book two, Time to Kill, will be available in the fall of 2014. These titles stand alone but can be read as part of a series. As are the books in my A Cop in the Family series: Family Secrets, Family Ties and Family Honor. I also have a short novella available in Kindle format only called On the Edge.

If you like straight romance, may I suggest my series, The Blame Game. The books in order are: Blame it on the Stars, Blame it on the Moon, Blame it on the Sun, and  Blame it on the Rain. Also look for romance titles Secrets and Lies, and Playing For Keeps.

My collection of romantic short stories is pulled together into one book called Impulsive, and each story is available separately as an Amazon short.

I hope you enjoy!

About the Author

Jamie Hill was born and raised in a beautiful, mid-sized town in Midwest, USA. At various times she wanted to be a veterinarian, teacher, cheerleader, TV star or a famous singer. The one thing she always wanted to be was a writer. Starting at about age ten, she penned romance as she envisioned it in one spiral notebook after another. When she's not working at the day job she loves, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and watching movies (the scarier the better!) In her 'spare time' she can often be found writing, editing, or doing something more mundane like housework. After that, she's probably taking a nap. She loves to hear from readers, so feel free to drop her a line.

5.0 out of 5 stars love this author June 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I stayed up till 1:30 this morning to finish this book. I read the first one in the series and then somehow skipped over to this one without reading the 2nd, which I will definitely read ASAP. I read the first one last night and then decided that I would just read "the first few pages" of this one before going to sleep. Yeah.. famous last words. I couldn't put the book down until I finished it. This author's characters draw me in so much that I just couldn't put it down. I will absolutely find more by this author!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't Put it Down! July 30, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
"Family Honor" is one of those books you just can't put down. Detective Melanie Curtis met her match when FBI agent Nate Willis showed up. Annoyed because she didn't know the FBI had been called in to consult on a serial killer case, she vowed not to like him. Trouble is, she more than liked him, she fell hard for him. Dead end leads, an incompetent CSI team, and Detective Curtis being framed all made for a great read. Loved the twists throughout the book - I found myself still reading at 1am every night. Yikes! Great book, and highly recommended by this romantic suspense fan. Will definitely be reading more books by this author.

4.0 out of 5 stars FAMILY HONOR July 4, 2012

The story was good to read. I have my favorite parts of the story though. I loved Nate's devotion to clear Mel's name. I was surprised who was framing Mel & why they did it. I was glad Dick's father got what he deserved. I loved the ending. This series is worth reading, nice work Ms Hill.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta love it August 27, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As a true fan of the cop genre, I looked forward to this book. This weekend, down at the beach, I finally got to it and I am so glad I did. I was so captivated that I didn't pay attention to the sun and got a wicked burn. But I didn't even care because I was ingrossed in a wonderful story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this series September 21, 2013
By Nikke
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a series that is easy to fall in love with. The author keeps her previous characters and they occasionally make all appearances as was the case with this story. You think you reach the end but don't get ahead of yourself as the suspense build and you discover it's not over at all! The best so far! I hope they are more to come as I want to know what happened to Nate and Mel!

I read the series in order. You don't have though. I hated to see them end. Maybe Jamie will write more.
