Every time I see a Debbie Bliss pattern book, I'm struck by the timeless elegance of her designs. She chooses colors that seem fresh and classic at the same time, clean lines that flatter just about any shape, and, in Family Knits, offers a variety of sizes--thank you Debbie! My husband, who is not a knitter, looked through the book and appreciated the designs as much as I did. The duck-egg blue and chocolate brown cricket sweater is delicious. Bottom line? If you like to knit clothes that you and your family will wear and enjoy for years, this book's for you.

I have so tried not to buy more knitting books, but oh, yes, just one more by Bliss. I have so tried not to knit her duck egg blue arans, but oh, no, she got me on this one. Check it out.

I purchased this book as a freind of mine is making one of Debbie Bliss's zippered sweaters that appears in this book, I would like to also make this sweater. I have read throught the book, but have not made anything yet.
