Dissappointed,
By suesmini "suesmini" (MN, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Family Manual, A manual for families of persons with pain (Spiral-bound)
I found this book to be a big dissappointment. It gives no ideas for the family or chronic pain sufferer on alternative solutions such as other activities the chronic pain person and the family can still do together without the pain sufferer bringing on more pain. Sure the family has to sacrific a lot with a chronic pain sufferer, but there are alternative solutions. If the family member(s) reading this book are not depressed already about his/her situation this book will certainly causes more depression. Plus it talks about things that the family members and chronic pain sufferer already are aware of. There is nothing new...it talks about what families go through in which we already know. I found it just to be a money maker for the author. This book shows no compromises for the family and pain sufferer. It's definitely not an uplifter and like I said it offers no solutions or compromises for the family or pain sufferer that there are other alternative activities family can do together and still have fun and maintain relationships. Don't buy it. It's a waste of money.
