I own at least six books about medisoft. I teach medisoft, among other things in a university and other colleges. This is the only book that prevented me from writing my own text book for my students. Well rounded, unpretentious and makes sense in its approach. Good balance about other information needed: Insurance, etc. and will not bog you down with coding which belongs to other books. If you want to learn about medical billing and medisoft, this book is it.

I ordered this because I am currently taking a course with a later version of the same software. I didn't want to mess up on the graded work, so I used this program for practice on my own. So far I have made straight A's in the course. Extra practice is always good---So if you are taking a course with Medisoft, this is a good investment. The seller I purchased from offered a used book with the data cd at a very reasonable price. Even with shipping it was under $5. The book was in great shape as well.

Just make sure you are getting the data cd, because you do need it, to do the practice exercises in the book. The cd is very important, as it has all the files loaded on it that you need. The book without the cd, won't do you much good really.
