Editorial Reviews

Review

Very beautiful and timely! --Naomi Shihab Nye

"I love [Family Pictures] its outfit. This is a very warm and beautiful book. It has "gift" written all over it. Buy this book for someone you love, or love yourself and keep it on a table near your bed. The pictures are instructional and will remind you how to live. The poems are inspirational and will motivate you never to stop loving. Alexander has a winner here." --E. Ethelbert Miller

What an award winning collection of poetry. It is the most beautiful thing to come out of DC in a VERY VERY long time! --Grace Cavalieri, Host "The Poet and The Poem"
