This review is from: The Family-School Connection: Theory, Research, and Practice (Issues in Children's and Families' Lives) (Paperback)
The quintet of editors in this book sculpt exactly what we need if we use the title as a guide: lots of excellent essays on the issues and topics encouraging, discouraging, and expanding home-school communication.

Please get this book if you can, but do not let it stand as your only resource in this topic. Please check out books by Kevin Swick, Nancy Chavkin, Diane Hiatt-Michaels, James Comer, Joyce Epstein, the team of Anne Bauer/Thomas Shea, and Ellen Galinsky.
