5.0 out of 5 stars Always a plus..., May 12, 2007
This review is from: Family Spirit: The Ifa Concept of Egun (Perfect Paperback)
Awo Falokuns books are always a pleasure to read, and own. This book is no exception.

While I will amdit that the volume is small, it is jam packed with useful information on the Egun, and the concept there-of. The instructions for the ancestor pot, divintiation, and reverence over blew my expectations of the book by a long shot.

Anyone interested in Ifa, or even in Santeria would do well to read this information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awo Falokun did it again !, July 20, 2007
This review is from: Family Spirit: The Ifa Concept of Egun (Perfect Paperback)
This book is excellent for both the novice and the well read in Ifa spirituality. The concepts are crystal clear and to the point. This is an inspirational read. It gives one a sense of connection to the ancestors and is an easy guide to tapping into the wisdom and energy of the Egun. I would highly recommend Baba Falokun's INNER PEACE ( Ifa Theololgy volume 1) as a primer for FAMILY SPIRIT. Well done Awo Falokun ! You did it again !

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great book by Baba Falokun, November 7, 2007
This review is from: Family Spirit: The Ifa Concept of Egun (Perfect Paperback)
This book should be the basis in one's development in understanding African/ Yoruban ancestral communication. It dispels the myth that women are not apart of ancestral veneration in Ifa culture. His elders in Ode Remo , Nigeria have taught him well.
