This series with its DVD introduction for each chapter is a good conversation starter to get people to open up and talk about things that matter. I have used this with over 30 MOPS women during 2 summer sessions. Although scripture is included in each booklet ( a great bonus for women hauling babies and carriers ) the references used by Allendar and Tremper make points that perhaps were NOT originally the main points of the passage. However, none have been anti- biblical. For the new bible student it has proved a good introduction into bible study. Marital and family relationships are discussed to help folks examine their own practices and strive to make them healthier. I appreciate the teachers guide in the back. All in all: a good tool for a group study.
