They will reply! Just send them a general note asking when season 6/7 is coming out, and tell them how bad you want it released. They have told me it is not on their upcoming release schedule, so we need to make our voices heard! If you want this on DVD take a couple of minutes and send them an email, repost this everywhere you can. The only way this is coming out is if all the Family Ties fans get together and make enough noise, don't let this be one of countless shows that never gets it's release finished!

Love Family Ties! Grew up watching this show as a kid in the 80s. It ended in 1989 when I was 13. I just wish Paramount would release the last 2 seasons so us fans can complete our collections.

Season 6 I think got moved to Sunday nights if memory serves me correct. This season Alex has a new girlfriend Lauren Miller (played by Courtney Cox, who was not that well known yet.) The first episode of the season is a ONE HOUR EPISODE where Alex meets Lauren. Lauren is doing a assignment for her college course about OVER ACHIEVERS. She decides to use Alex for her project and gives him a pollygraph test, Which is absolutely hilarious. I have this episode on a Columbia House Video but would love to have it and the rest of the series on DVD. You will die laughing at the pollygraph scene.

Please Paramount put the rest of Family Ties out, SOON!

i am a huge fan of family ties and have been waiting for season 6 to come out on dvd...it's been since march 2009 since season 5 was released....i want the last two seasons to be released...it's way overdue....

this show really teaches you how to learn when you have a big family I have learned alot from this show and wish to have season 6 when it comes out I already have season 1-5 and I enjoy them everyday please try to come out with the rest of the seasons soon thank you karie cox

Family Ties was a warm, funny, family friendly show. The cast seemed like a really family. Such a wonderful show with great acting.

I think it's important to relesae Seasons 6 & 7. We already have Seasons 1-5. It's been over two years since the last release. Please for all those of us who are die hard Family Ties fans give us the remaining seasons so we can cherish the set as a whole.

This has always been my all-time favorite show. I grew up watching it.

Family Ties Forever!

This is one of my favorite shows ever. I watched it growing up, and now my kids love it. We have the first five seasons on DVD. Please release the last two.

I never write reviews for show seasons that aren't scheduled to be released. Well, almost never. "Family Ties" is one of the best TV comedies ever, and needs to see completion on DVD. Seasons 6 and 7 should be released. This particular season(6)saw the debut of Courteney Cox on the show as Lauren Miller, a psychologist and unlikely girlfriend for Alex. The two-part season premiere "The Last of the Red Hot Psychologists" is very funny and insightful.

Please release the final two seasons of this show on DVD. It is a true classic.

If Paramount didn't release Season 6 for the holiday shopping season, they most likely never will. Talk about dumb. All the garbage shows available on DVD. This was a top 5 show in ratings almost every week for 5 straight years.

I spoke with Paramount home entertainment and they say that it isn't on their release schedule all the way to August. I asked them a lot of questions and it's really insulting how they treat their customers. I asked why they couldn't simply tell us whether it would be coming out or not and the lady said she didn't know. I said, "Well, you do know that your executives made and released a show called Family Ties, don't you?" "So, if you know that, then someone knows why this hasn't been released or if it's likely to not get released, so why not tell us?" She replied, "Maybe we don't want our competition to know." I laughed at her. This is unusual from my experiences with tv on dvd. We're talking a classic show that isn't too old to attract its old audience back and for new people to be interested. Also, to release 5 seasons is a lot if this is a sales driven decision. Certainly, they should have had an indication earlier that sales were poor or worse than expected. Of course I hear all the time that the high cost of certain, more profitable products are used to mitigate the losses on shows like this, so that the audience/customers can get the best of both worlds. Well, eventually I have to make a decision before the first 5 seasons drop and have little value and I did, sadly, did the same with Party of Five when it became clear it was never going to be finished either. I'm glad that I had the first 5 seasons of this brilliant show, but I have zero interest in collecting a show that isn't complete. I wouldn't buy a novel missing the last 2 chapters either. Mine will be going on sale. Thanks Paramount, don't think I'll remember it the next time I'm looking at buying one of your movies. And they wonder why more and more people pirate and bootleg their products...this is why.

I've been waiting and waiting and just noticed that they're finally up for instant streaming. I'd love the hard copies, but this will do for now--made my morning! Thanks to Paramount and Netflix!
