A Family's Stronghold contains poetry and short stories dealing with family challenges, especially the disease of Alzheimer's, and the joys of experiencing a family's love and support. "Seeing my dad shake with each breath he took due to Pulmonary disease, watching as his life's essence slowly drained from his body, I made a vow to myself that any writing I compiled would be dedicated to him." With a shaking hand and a body racked with pain, he persevered to show his family the beauty that can be brought forth in words. Ginnylynn's book has given us a window into some of the difficulties that life can offer and the wonderful comfort that is available to us all. Illnesses like Alzheimer's require a level of love and dedication that will severely test the strongest family. When physical strength and resolve are stretched thin, the Stronghold described in this book is the source of encouragement needed.
