World Famous Ultra Soft Bumper for Roomba, Neato, Mint and Scooba Robotic Vacuums!

I have a Roomba 581 that runs daily. After only a month, I began to notice areas on my dark furniture legs where the stain was being rubbed off. That would never do, but I sure couldn't give up my Roomba either! I saw other soft bumper products which were made only of a foam type of material. While soft, that material will also rub the finish off furniture. I then came across the Ultra Soft Bumper for Roomba when someone posted about it on a robot forum. I decided to give it a try and what a difference! Roomba is very quiet now, without the bangs I used to hear when bumping things, and my furniture is no longer suffering. The bumper is very soft, dust and fuzz is easily cleaned off, too. I highly recommend getting this if you have a Roomba. I plan on getting another for my 560. Besides this product working so well, the Ultra Soft Bumper is designed to last the lifetime of Roomba.

I got this primarily because I feared the Roomba damaging/ scratching the legs of my furniture....as well as keep the Roomba itself scratch free. Well the assembly is pretty straight forward, all you have to do is peel of the adhesive and press it along the edge....be very careful to line the edges up.
Well after about a week of finding the Roomba undocked and fully drained, I decided to watch it attempt to dock...it goes up to the docking station, attempts to seat itself and then pulls out and tries again. Maybe it's the 610 model for which it doesn't work, but I tried lining it up again, pressing it harder etc.
If looking for a great add-on to prevent the Roomba from getting stock under certain low furniture, I highly recommend the strips. Roomba, Scooba KeepOut Strips Fits All Roomba and Scooba Products, Robot Add On's Part 6018-1001

I am not sure about the other reviews, but my roomba docks fine with this on it's bumper. It does a great job and prevents those little nicks on the wood furniture and keeps the roomba looking great. It is a little pricey for what it is, but worth it in my book if you have dark furniture legs that are vulnerable to the impact of a roomba bumper

This bumper seems like it will work very well. It has an agressive adhesive, so I don't think there is any risk that it will fall off like the one that came with my Roomba. Be sure to position it carefully before you adhere the adhesive since you will not be able to reposition it. The bumper itself is nice and soft so I think it will protect the corners of my furniture where I noticed some wear in the finish due to using the Roomba for almost 2 years.

Roomba Bumper Works! A problem was created before, with Roomba vacuum bumping into furniture and baseboards, leaving marks. In our new house with new baseboards, it was a good time to try it out. No more problem with scuffs.

Bought the soft bumper for Roomba. I have to admit that it took me a minute to figure out how to align the bumper by aligning the bottom of the soft bumper with the bottom of Roomba's bumper. I am not sure if the directions on the package were clear. Once I aligned the soft bumper properly, I was ready to rock and roll. I am amazed of the feel of the soft bumper. I always hated the thought of the Roomba's hard plastic bumper rubbing against my furniture. I even noticed my chair legs starting to scratch before using the soft bumper. I know iRobot makes a high end Roomba with a rubber strip for $600, but no way am I going to spend all that money for one. I feel this was a very good with purchase.

The first time I ran my Roomba 564 was without the World Famous Ultra Soft Bumper and I noticed a few small streaks of white paint on the bumper. This paint came off my baseboards which means noticeable wear would be inevitable with time. Also, Roomba will hit narrow objects that it can't detect with a good head of steam (like sharp bed frame legs, furniture legs, etc). And this can't be good for the plastic bumper. Anyway, I bought this and I think it does a good job at lessening the blow to both the Roomba and the objects in the room.

The only thing I don't like is that it is white - which becomes discolored (dirty) with time. Also it's priced a little steep for a small piece of material. Thus, minus one star for the color and the price.

One more thing - I hate directions - but read the short directions because you don't want to stick this thing atop the Roomba sensors!!

We got this for our Costco Roomba 550. The Roomba had been slowly damaging the legs of our fine furniture and grandfather clock. We added this bumper and based on the softness of the material, I believe that no more damage will occur! The product seems to adhere very strongly to the Roomba bumper and does not otherwise alter the performance of the unit. I think this is a great idea and highly recommend it for your Roomba 550!

I love this bumper, works well, cuts the bumping noise and my walls and furniture are now protected from the black marks the roomba made. Never saw a docking problem.
