I don't know of any "Bare" album that does not deserve a four / five star rating, and this is no exception. I don't care what anyone says, this man has the best country voice of them all. No squeaky singing through nose vocals, but pure richness and warmth coming from his heart in every song. His lyrics are clever and just about every song tells a story that one can relate to. I am from South Africa, but saved up to pay him a visit in Nashville. Believe me, he is as genuine in the flesh as he is in song. Ask anyone who knows him. This album is a must for any true country music lover (old or new country). He has never received the acclaim that he deserves, simply because he was way ahead of his time. I repeat, this album is a must.

Bobby is a great artist, and these are not bad versions of some of his best known tracks. But please check out the originals you wont be dissapoimted.
