I was really hoping that this product would be "the one" for me; however, it didn't tan me at all. I am very white and so any color would be noticeable. It did nothing. And then I contacted Famous Daves to see about a refund and he does not provide refunds on Amazon for opened items. This is ridiculous as how can you know if it will work for you unless you open the product. On the Famous Daves website, he provided a 100% satisfaction guarantee and yet would not provide me a refund. I wasn't simply unsatisfied with the product; it didn't work at all. I consider that a defective product and thus worthy of a refund. Please be forewarned before buying this product. It must be that it works on some skins and not on others.

First, let me start off by saying the product itself is really great, especially for those with paler skin who want to add a little color to them without turning orange! The reason for the one star rating is because as a repeat customer I got screwed by them. I ordered the product and never received it, it's not cheap. I emailed the company to check on the status of my order. They said it had been sent out and I should have already received it by now. When I emailed back stating I still had not received it they gave me a cold response that stated in so many words: "Too bad." Buy with caution.

As most people, I was skeptical that ANY self tanner would be possible to apply without leaving the orange streaks. This product blew my expectations out the window. IF you apply it like it is instructed, which is rubbing it in until you don't see any streaks, you wont have streaks! I am very pale, especially pale due to not going into the sunlight for several months, and this product gives me a beautiful tan. It's not a dark tan, its enough to make me look like I'm not a pale person and that I have a nice sunkissed skin. It does have an odor like most tanners do, but it is MUCH lighter and does not linger after a shower. The tan does not come off in a shower either. Mine lasts at least 4 days before I notice that I need to re-apply and after keeping it on for the past several months, my skin still does not look at white as it should when I re-apply. This is a great product and I will be a life long customer!! LOVE that it has a more natural mild list of ingredients so I don't feel like I'm bathing in poison!
