5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic resource!, January 19, 2009
This review is from: Famous Men of the Middle Ages, Text (Perfect Paperback)
We purchased this for our home school curriculum, and I am so glad that it is part of our library. Our children hung on every word, and the illustrations are very well done and captivating. This really brings to life the stories of those who shaped events of history.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting stuff, November 10, 2011

This is a review of the Kindle version, so no issues with the pages.

This starts with famous men (and Joan of Arc) of the 4th Century and moves forward in time. It's not a ton of info. on each, but certainly worth a read if you like a history.

Happily, the photos are reproduced, so that is quite useful.

Unfortunately, it needs a good editing, as there are a number of typos in this version, and the formatting needs a good cleaning.

This review is from: Famous Men of the Middle Ages, Text (Perfect Paperback)
The contents of this book are excellent and have served as a great supplement to our homeschool high school course on the Middle Ages, however, after only two months, the pages are falling out of the book.

Since this is a classic, you may find it by a different publisher. Avoid this version.
