The Famous & The Anonymous uncovers the private obsessions and subterranean desires of the nameless and the internationally recognized, both contemporary and historical. Ten of the twenty-two stories within the collection take the reader behind a celebritys poseur façade to reveal the anxiety-riddled human behind it. The remaining twelve inspect the personal lives of unknown men and women, who watch their worlds slowly unraveling around them. The stories examine the motivations behind sexual deviancy, extramarital affairs, murder, and other behavior having generally calamitous consequences. With keen insight into the human condition, each tale provides a vivid transcription of the visual and emotional worlds.
