5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect addition to any and all explorers of Wisconsin's unexplained hidden half, April 2, 2006
This review is from: Famous Wisconsin Ghosts and Ghost Hunters (Paperback)
Famous Wisconsin: Ghosts And Hunters deftly co-authored by the team of writer and publicist Hanna Heidi Levy and Brian G. Borton and is an especially well written documentation of many of the peculiar metaphysical manifestations associated with the state of Wisconsin's strange and inexplicable phenomena. Famous Wisconsin introduces the reader to an in-depth and unknown Wisconsin that features great detail and outstanding account of where, what, and possibilities to why these ghosts and spirits exist still. From the Wausau Paranormal Research Society, to Animal Encounters with the Paranormal, this is very highly recommended reading for its easy-to-read format and extensively studied content. Famous Wisconsin is the perfect addition to any and all explorers of Wisconsin's unexplained hidden half.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Variety, July 2, 2006
This review is from: Famous Wisconsin Ghosts and Ghost Hunters (Paperback)
The book has a variety of topics not covered in other "ghost books." For example, a section on Animals, as ghosts and as living beings sensing the paranormal is informative and interesting. Areas of the state not frequently covered is another unusual factor in this book. The book interviewed several investigators, and this was unique. All things considered, this is a good book to add to the collections of those who collect regional ghost books. I enjoyed the variety in this book which went beyond just talking about ghostly incidents.

2.0 out of 5 stars Another chapter in monotonous Haunted Wisconsin books, December 20, 2005
By
Paul Ditka (Chicago, IL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Famous Wisconsin Ghosts and Ghost Hunters (Paperback)
The moment I started reading this book, I got an eeire feeling. This feeling was not from the mystical nature of the contents of this book, but because I had already read much of this. This book is just another monotonous chapter of haunted tales of Wisconsin and is rather drab. Too bad, because I do enjoy books on this subject that are fresh.
