For Die Hard Fans,

This documentary is filmed by an amateur, so it has that quality throughout the film. This movie is really going to appeal only to die hard fans of "the dead" movies. If one wanted to see many of the sites from Romero's 1st three films this video will take you a few places that you may not get to see unless you actually went to Pittsburgh. The highlights, in my opinion, are the house and cemetery from the 1990 remake of "Night" and the bunker from "Day". The other sites are better covered in the documentary, "Document of the dead".

A great home-made documentary on the George A. Romero "of the Dead" films. Couldn't have done it better... I tried. Made my own travels to Evans City and Monroeville, PA. back in 2004, with video camera. Could not have put together anything as professional and heartfelt as this. A big "Five Star *****" rating! Fixing to watch it again, along with "Autopsy of the Dead", another Five Star Documentary, probably made on a much larger budget. "Fan of the Dead" is highly recommended to G.A.R. enthusiasts, such as myself.

Ok so im a fan of George Romero. I love DAWN OF THE DEAD & DAY OF THE DEAD.Had never heard of this dvd befor so i tought i would give it a chance. This dvd is 60 min doc of 25th anniversarie of DAWN OF THE DEAD . This french dude came all the way from europe to go the Marienville mall with special apperance (David Emge - Ken Foree and others). If you are expecting a doc a la ANCHOR BAY ENT AND/OR BLUE UNDERGROUND... DONT GET THIS DVD !! This is footage filmed the same way your dad would film your week end vacation in Burlington VT. The biggest probleme is that this doc is in french. I dont mind that, cause im a french Canadian. The thing is that their is a english voice over & it is ... CRAP. I think they should give us the chance of with or without this voice over. Dont expect footage of any of these movies. It was cool too see the basement were they filmed DAY OF THE DEAD, but i suggest watching this on youtube for free 1st, then buy the DVD if you like it. I will not be watching this dvd again. For a good doc on DAWN OF THE DEAD,i would tell you to get

It's my favorite B-movie!! I have already bought me a DVD copy of the film and it was fantastic!! The best part of the film is when the Kings of Horror battled to the death. Regina Carrol was great as the heroine, Judith Fontaine. I don't care how bad this film was, 'cause it's one of my favorites. Any of you who are fans of Al Adamson, Regina Carrol, or this film, you should get this, because it's fantastic. Enjoy it!!
