A number of recipes come together in a Slow Cooker which is IMO every mom’s best friend. Old South Pulled Pork on a Bun (pg. 106) makes my mouth water! Some are “not your mama’s” recipes like “Kale and Brussel Sprout Slaw” (pg. 76) reminding us it’s easy to choose and prepare superfoods for our everyday meals.

PS I especially appreciate cookbooks that are spiral bound so they lay flat or sit nicely in a counter-top book holder, have large enough print so I can keep reading while my hands are full, and are strategically presented on one page or a 2-page spread - No spill-overs (Yes, I did notice & thank you! :-)
